Terms of Use

Plain-English summary: Shaguar finds cars that may be priced below their estimated value. It is information, not advice. Always do your own checks before buying. We are not part of any sale.

1. Agreement

By using shaguar.com, our emails, alerts, or any related service (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Shaguar is operated by Matt Graves, Nebraska, USA.

2. Informational service only

The Service provides information and estimates about vehicles listed for sale by third parties. Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, tax, legal, or professional appraisal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell any vehicle. Estimated values and "upside" figures are opinions generated from public data and may be wrong. See our Disclaimer.

3. No guarantee of accuracy or availability

Listings, prices, descriptions, photos, and auction status come from third parties and change constantly. We do not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, or current, or that any vehicle is still available, as described, or legally sellable.

4. Your due diligence

You are solely responsible for your decisions. Before buying, you should verify the vehicle's identity, title, history, and condition, get an independent pre-purchase inspection, review all documents, and confirm the legality of any purchase, import, or export.

5. Not a party, dealer, or broker

Shaguar is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. Shaguar is not a motor vehicle dealer, broker, auctioneer, or agent, does not hold or transfer funds or vehicles, and does not represent buyers or sellers. Any dispute about a vehicle or sale is between you and the other party or platform.

6. Third-party links

The Service links to third-party sites such as auction and listing platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. Some links may be affiliate links that earn us a commission at no extra cost to you.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are not yet available. The following will apply when they launch, and more detail may be added at that time.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until canceled.
You can cancel anytime, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payments are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partial months or unused periods, except where required by law.
Prices and plan features may change. We will give advance notice of price changes, which take effect at your next billing period.
We may suspend paid features if a payment fails.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to copy the Service or its alerts.
Resell, redistribute, republish, or share alerts, digests, or data with non-subscribers, or share your account.
Use the Service to build a competing product.
Interfere with, hack, or overload the Service, or bypass any access limits.
Use the Service for anything unlawful or fraudulent.

We may suspend or end access for violations.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its text, design, the Shaguar name and logo, alerts, estimates, and compilations of data, is owned by Shaguar or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, SHAGUAR AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, MONEY, OR DATA, OR ANY LOSS FROM A VEHICLE PURCHASE, SALE, OR TRANSACTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shaguar and its operator from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your transactions with third parties, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nebraska, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will notify subscribers by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

15. General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and Shaguar about the Service.
